👪 Who Can Avail the Scheme?

Children who meet the following conditions are eligible:

  • Orphaned or destitute children aged 0 to 18 years
  • Children whose parents are deceased, or
  • Children whose father has passed away and the mother has remarried
  • The child must be enrolled in school or Anganwadi

📌 When Will Assistance Stop?

  • The financial assistance will discontinue once the child:
  • Turns 18 years old
  • Stops studying

📝 Where to Get the Application Form?

  • The application form can be collected from the District Social Security Office.
  • In districts without a children’s home, the District Child Protection Unit will handle form acceptance and processing.
  • The District Social Security Officer is responsible for the disbursement of financial assistance.

💰 Financial Assistance:

  • ₹3000 per month will be provided to the foster family for each eligible child.

To apply, the following documents are necessary:

  1. Proof of Age – Birth certificate or any valid age proof of the child
  2. Income Certificate:
  • For rural areas: Annual income must be below ₹27,000 (issued by Taluka Development Officer)
  • For urban areas: Annual income must be below ₹36,000 (issued by Mamlatdar)
  1. Death Certificate of parents or evidence of father’s death and mother’s remarriage
  2. Photographs:
  • Passport-size photos of the child and the foster parents
  • Postcard-size photo of the child with foster parents

  • School certificate signed by the principal or Anganwadi officer
