Manav Kalyan Yojana 2024–25 @ e-kutir.gujarat.gov.in: has been launched by the Commissioner of Cottage and Village Industries, Gandhinagar. This scheme provides financial assistance in the form of trade-specific toolkits to eligible individuals to help them start or grow their small businesses.
Applicants from rural areas with an annual income of up to ₹1,20,000 and those from urban areas with an annual income of up to ₹1,50,000 can apply online starting from 3rd July 2024.

Manav Kalyan Yojana 2024–25 @ e-kutir.gujarat.gov.in The Manav Kalyan Yojana aims to promote self-employment by providing essential tools and equipment to economically backward communities. Introduced on September 11, 1995, this scheme replaced the earlier self-employment initiative to better support artisans and workers from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
Currently, financial assistance is provided to individuals involved in 28 different types of trades (like vegetable vending, carpentry, mobile repairing, etc.) based on a government resolution dated 11/09/2018.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 16 to 60 years
- Income Limit:
- Rural Areas: Must be listed in the BPL list of the Rural Development Department. If not listed, a family income certificate (up to ₹1,20,000/year) must be provided.
- Urban Areas: Family income should not exceed ₹1,50,000/year. Income proof from the Mamlatdar, Chief Officer of the Municipality, or other authorized officials is required.
